Walk in Urgent Care Clinic
Cambridge Medical Centre are pleased to announce the relaunching of our Walk-in Urgent Care Clinic from Monday 01/12/2025.
Please note this service will not be operating on a daily basis, please check our weekly schedule of operating hours below and on the News tab.
On days where the walk in urgent care clinic is not available please phone on 827 7184 so we can assess your need and advise the best course of action.
Urgent Care at Cambridge Medical Centre is for urgent accidents/injuries or acute presentations only. You will be triaged by a Practice Nurse to determine the urgency of your condition.
If your need does not meet our urgent criteria you may be booked an appointment with your GP for another day.
For Urgent Triage Services there is a surcharge of $10 in addition to our standard consult fees.
Patients are also able to access urgent care services at Tui Medical Rototuna and Te Rapa.
Phone Triage
On days where we do not have a Walk in Urgent Care Clinic available we will be operating our phone triage service.
If your need is urgent please phone us on 827 7184 to arrange a call back. You will be triaged by a Nurse and they will discuss options with you which may include advice, a same day appointment, or an appointment on another day.
Please note that fees may apply for this service.
You will still be able to book appointments for general medical and ACC related services along with our Nurse clinics and Clinical Pharmacist clinic.
